Protect Yourself With A Handmade Face Mask

With the number of cases of COVID-19 reported in the Philippines recently, many were buying face masks. Consumers, however, found pharmacies had run out of masks.
The Calit ES teachers had used recycled cloth in creating their handmade face masks. Their homemade masks were washable and reusable as well.
Making a mask for ourselves is the best thing we can do if we want to take the extra precaution of wearing a face mask.

Let's Create A Backyard Medicine

As medicinal plants are natural, they are free from side effects, they are comparatively safe, eco-friendly and locally available. Traditionally there are lots of herbs used to treat common ailments.
The Calit ES Teachers had created their healing gardens at home. In times of need, they could have herbal medicines that were readily available at their backyards.
To help save human lives, let's promote growing medicinal plants in our backyards.

CALIT ES WORK FROM HOME

CES Teachers Revive the Games of our Heritage

The Enhanced Community Quarantine brings boredom to some children and adults. Beating boredom does not need to be complicated. One way to deal with it is through play.
The Calit ES teachers engaged their family members in a fun and rejuvenating play. They have brought back the traditional Filipino games and introduced them to their children. They would like to pass on the fun tradition to make the new generation experience the fun of being truly Filipinos. Likewise, they wanted to instill fundamental values among the new generation of youth and steered them towards more strenuous and physical activity. Moreover, everyone enjoyed the fun-filled activities.

HAPPY FITNESS CALIT ES

HOME GARDENING: CALIT ES Aksyong Pangkalikasan

Despite the COVID 19 pandemic, we, the Calit ES Teachers, continue to show our love for the environment. Today, March 20, 2020, we had conducted a simultaneous gardening activity in our respective homes. For us, consuming more fruits and vegetables right from our gardens is one of the most important things we can do to stay healthy nowadays.

Furthermore, it is our way of showing our full support to our Government's COVID 19 preventive measures. Gardening is also our natural stress reliever. Being outside in the fresh air and sunshine can improve mood and make us feel rejuvenated and overall happy. It gives us a great sense of accomplishment, as well.
