Dr. Palma Pays a Brief Visit to Calit ES


       The Department of Education’s perspective in delaying the opening of classes is to ensure that the learners and teachers are prepared to embrace the new learning environment. To effectively address the challenges in basic education, each school adopts a Learning Continuity Plan as a major response in ensuring the health and well-being of both the learners and teachers.

Yesterday morning, Dr. Maricel F. Palma, Public Schools District Supervisor of Binmaley ll, dropped round to see Calit Elementary School. Calit ES strictly maintained and enforced prevention protocols for the safety of their guest and staff.

During the short convocation, Dr. Palma oriented and provided technical assistance to teachers on the various modalities of learning, which is one of the key features in the LCP. She likewise shared a few words of encouragement and put a smile on everyone's face.

The teachers were very grateful as well for the opportunity to listen to such an inspiring leader, helping them to get back into action and the work they love.

SDO1 Pangasinan DepEd Officials, LGU Binmaley Officials Convene With One Accord

The School Heads of Binmaley District together with their PSDS’s Dr. Arlyn V. Garcia, Binmaley I, and Dr. Maricel F. Palma, Binmaley II, attended the Courtesy Call of the newly installed Assistant Schools Division Superintendents, Dr. Marciano U Soriano, Jr and Dr. Ely S. Ubando with the SDS Dr. Sheila Marie A. Primicias to the mayor Hon. Simplicio L. Rosario.
Hon. Simplicio L. Rosario together with the ABC President Hon. Jonas Rosario conveyed their all-out support to the Learning Continuity Plan of SDO1 Pangasinan. The LCP is a major response in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our learners, and teachers while finding ways for education to continue amidst the crisis for the upcoming school year. SDS Dr. Sheila Marie Primicias was thankful for the support expressed by the mayor. Indeed, working as a team and achieving one purpose for our learners matter most in this time of the pandemic. Calit ES Meetings Arrange Via Video Teleconferencing


    To keep educators connected with work-related activities, and the Department of Education urged to continue the work-from-home scheme, teleconferencing technology is being used in our Education System today.

      Just this morning, Calit Elementary School, headed by its School Head, Mr. Geneshar C. Castro, invited the teachers to a short conference via Facebook Messenger Room to a "Kumustahan" virtual activity likewise to discuss matters regarding their preparations for the forthcoming formal opening of classes. 

       Moreover, while the teachers were not able to report physically in the school at this time, they had agreed to rely on video conferencing to hold meetings, share ideas, and check in with each other. 

     Furthermore, Calit ES educators are beginning to take advantage of this technology to engage stakeholders and pupils in the teaching and learning process on the new normal in education.

MDRRMC, BFP Disinfect Calit ES Facilities

       The functional arms of the Local Government of Binmaley, MDRRMC, and BFP conducted a sanitization service of Calit Elementary School yesterday, August 6, 2020,  to further reduce the risk of coronavirus transmission in the school. 

       As preparation for the formal opening of classes which is set on August 24, 2020, and for the safety of the learners and teachers, the members of MDRRMC and BFP had disinfected the physical facilities of the school such as the classrooms, multi-purpose hall, principal's office, canteen, school clinic, and the school grounds using powerful disinfecting sprayers. 
       Prior to the scheduled sanitization, Mr. Geneshar Castro, the hardworking School Head of Calit ES, informed the teachers to keep all their important belongings and leave their keys in the office.
       Moreover, this project was made possible through the initiative of our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Simplicio L. Rosario, whose vision is to ensure public safety.
       In recent weeks, teachers, barangay officials, and local government officials have worked together tirelessly to confront the coronavirus outbreak likewise to create and maintain a positive and safe environment for the learners and teachers with an unprecedented spirit of collaboration.
